Reconceived as a landscape element, this playground design plays with the existing topography to omit ubiquitous perimeter fencing and other generic ‘deadening’ fixtures. A dynamic central spine element commandeers a multitude of diverting objects and events along its length: park links, mixes of equipment, circulation routes, planting, moments of shelter, enclosure and division. All finishes and structure are from recycled or sustainable materials. |
