Assemblage

‘Assemblage’ refers to a defining ethos in the studio of valuing diversity in approach both across and within individual projects. This position includes a resistance to ‘house style’, understood as uniformity in architectural character. The practice encourages multiple architectural voices, with the studio architects themselves acting as editors and coordinators as well as creators, emulating on one level the assembling effect of the city itself.
